can't wait!

Woohoo! It's been almost a month since my last post. Been busy with exams, with work, and my favorite--doing nothing haha!

There are a lot of things I'm looking forward to this year. I'm looking forward to my exam results (hopefully, I'll pass haha)...my homecoming after two years...my bonuses (!)... a miracle from God (hmmm...)

But the one I am looking forward to NOW, as in right this very minute, is Chinky's visit to SG!!! Wooohooo!!!! After almost two years of not seeing each other, I'll finally, finally get to see my Vru, my BFF, my partner in crime-love-hate-and revenge. Haha.

As I write this, she's now on the plane, coming from Perth. They will go back to Manila to have a fresh start. Fresh start--how nice it sounds, right? I'm happy for her because I know it's in Manila that they will be happy, and not the "remotest city in the world" (as she would call Perth). In an hour's time, I will be on my way to the airport to pick up Chinky, Jerome and little Carlos.

Unfortunately, they will only be staying for a day because... I can't tell you the reason why. If I tell you, I'd have to kill you (ha, baduy!).

So anyway, I want to share some of my favorite pics with Chinky...

High School Grad (1995)...

Starting to attend friends' weddings (2000ish)

Getting drunk together... (hmm kelan ba to? basta wala pang digicam nun)

and after many years, many boys, many heartaches, many tears, many liters of cuervo, many puffs, many joys, many pounds (more for me, less for her), many haircuts, many tambays, many issues, etc etc...

we had our last photo (taken together with Mommy (Tessie):

This photo was taken in 2006, when I went home for my wedding preps. The picture she's holding is supposed to be the design of her gown (she's my matron of honor). Fortunately and unfortunately, on that day that she's supposed to go for her gown measurement, she learned that she had to pack her bags and go to Australia immediately. So long story cut short, she wasn't able to make it to my wedding.

I was her Maid of Honor on her wedding. As promised, she was also my MOH on my wedding day. But she wasn't able to make it. But she will always be my MOH--in more ways than one.

OKAY ENOUGH OF THIS, I'M OFF TO THE AIRPORT TO PICK HER UP! CIAO.
